Rhapsody is a professional vocal ensemble, brought together by our love of music and the enjoyment of sharing it.  Our repertoire consists of well known tunes from various decades, starting in the 20's through the 40's (including Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy), the 50's, the 60's, as well as more current tunes.  We take our audiences on a musical journey through time, and they love the trip!

 

Rhapsody was formed in 2009.  There are currently eleven members from the San Diego County area of California. Rhapsody Singers have bonded to become a musical family that has entertained over tens of thousands of people every year.

We can be seen at Cruisin’ Grand in Escondido where they estimate about 10,000 visitors attend each night. 



We have been hired to sing at volunteer recognition lunches, such as RSVP and The Assistance League.  Some of us have been active with CCT Senior Follies, in which our group has been featured in several numbers.

We have worked very hard to develop an outstanding blend of voices, present great songs and put on an entertaining show! We come fully equipped with audio, props and backdrops to add a professional touch to our performance.  We can tailor our shows for Patriotic events, St. Patrick’s Day and Valentine’s Day, etc.  Our Christmas Program is upbeat and includes many favorite holiday tunes.  We’re in very high demand during Christmas, so we recommend that you plan ahead and book us early.
